• Euro Espoirs : Ianis Hagi (Roumanie), l'héritier des Carpates
Milieu offensif comme son père Gheorghe, Ianis Hagi est le visage de la génération qui veut redresser la Roumanie.
    By Anthony Clément/l'Equipe

LaLiga joined talent development gurus from top European clubs to discuss how academies can best cultivate young players for future success.
Managing cultural differences, forming strong partnerships with local institutions and seeking improvement in coaching are key pillars of LaLiga’s grassroots projects.
For football to develop in any country there needs to be a depth of playing talent that creates competition for places at domestic clubs, drives up overall standards and improves the ability to compete internationally. To achieve this, a strong grassroots infrastructure is essential.

  • Leonard refused $ 21.3 million and became a free player
Kawai Lenard, a Toronto basketball player, denied the possibility to receive $ 21,300,000 next year, which means he will be unlimited free player from 1 July.

The MVP of this year's final had a clause in the contract, which he could only decide whether to extend the existing contract for a year or not.

Expected "Claw" has rejected this possibility and from the first of July will be an unlimited free basketball player.

This information was transmitted by "Yahoo Sports" which states that Kawai seriously is considering signing a new contract with Reptors, which would probably be a two-year ( $ 70,000,000 ), with a " player option " for the second year.

This means that Lenard would again be a free basketball player again, or he could change the environment.

It is known that Kavaj would like to play in Los Angeles, where he was born, but as he won the Toronto title, he will probably remain at least another season in Canada.

Athens-born Greek Antetokounmpo received 78 out of 101 possible votes in the league's most valuable player poll, placing second-placed winner James Harden of the Houston Rockets last year. Third was Paul George of the Oklahoma City Thunder ahead of Nikola Jokic (Denver Nuggets) and Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors).

"Every day I'm on the pitch, I think of my father," Antetokounmpo said tears as he spoke. Charles Antetokounmpo died in 2017 at the age of 53. Giannis Antetokounmpo, raised in poverty in Greece's capital as the son of Nigerian immigrants, thanked his teammates and his club, which he was able to lead into the play-offs.

Antetokounmpo is only the fifth NBA MVP that was not born on the US mainland. His predecessors were Hakeem Olajuwon (Nigeria), Tim Duncan (US Virgin Islands), Steve Nash (Canada) and the Würzburg Dirk Nowitzki. He is also the third youngest player since 1980 after Derrick Rose and Michael Jordan, who received the Maurice Podoloff Trophy.

  • Tour de France 2019
The absence of several favorites opens the door to Romain Bardet and Thibaut Pinot on the Tour de France
With less than two weeks left of Brussels, the absences of Froome, Dumoulin, Roglic and truncated preparation of Thomas, the title holder, leave opportunities to Bardet and Pinot. But by their side, many outsiders can also dream in yellow.

The 2019 season is an exciting year, unexpected and full of surprises, as we have not experienced for a long time. French cycling brings with it its share of satisfactions and emotions: consider, for example, the number one place in the world of Julian Alaphilippe, winner of Milan-San Remo and La Flèche Wallonne, and the rise of young Valentin.
