  • What Brexit can mean for British football

The consequences of Britain's exit from the European Union may have an impact on the first English football league, perhaps the strongest in the world, while the English Federation hopes that this Brexit will give impetus to the Albion national team, reports DPA, taken over by Agerpres.

The UK is expected to leave the EU on October 31, but after the latest news could be postponed. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is optimistic about an agreement between London and Brussels, but does not rule out any possible exit from the European Union without agreement, despite the British parliament's decision.

During this time, the football clubs in England and Scotland are monitoring the situation and wondering what will happen in the future.

In the European Cup last season, both finals were completely English: Liverpool beat Tottenham in the Champions League final, and Chelsea beat Arsenal in the Europa League final.

  • removed from the Olympic judo group due to alleged heart problems, suspended for two years because he went to the sambo. "They forced me to give up!" Daniel Natea, 27, was not on the list of Romanian athletes at the European Games in Minsk (June 21-30), nor at the Judo World Cup in Japan (August 25-31). Initially, he was removed from the lot, due to alleged heart problems, then, after going to the sambo, the Siberian was suspended by the Romanian Judo Federation! By Mihai Toma , Saturday, September 14, 2019, 8:00 AM Although he was the best ranked Romanian in the hierarchy of the International Federation, 2nd place in the +100 kg category, the Siberian athlete was forced to give up judo for another discipline, still neolympic, sambo. «I was forced to give up, but I am strong» The sportsman, who was in Prague at the European Sambo Cup, gave explanations for Freedom: “I didn't give up judo for sambo. I was simply forced to give up. I'm just a winner and I'll always come back with fresh forces! I came out European champion at the sambo, now I aim for the world title! ”. Natea has won the European title at sambo this year in Gijon, Spain. But this move to martial arts, without the consent of the International Federation, brought him a two-year suspension, until June 5, 2021. European champion at Sambo, at the competition in Gijon «Suspension only for some» According to a 2014 International Judo Federation circular, no sportsman can participate in other sports without "specific" authorization. “I don't even know at the moment how valid the circular is. Probably only for certain people! Even in Romania there are several cases that went to the sambo and did not receive a suspension. Internationally, the same! The Russian I beat in the semifinal at the EC de Sambo is the world number 30 in judo, but did not receive a suspension ”, claims Natea.

What the first of the three wedding dresses she wears at the event will look like Sambo is a style of martial arts originally from Russia, similar to the Jew. The word is an acronym for "SAMozashchita Bez Oruzhiya", which translates to "self-defense without weapons". It's not the first episode of its kind. In 2012, Natea took another break from judo to practice sambo, then becoming a European and World Youth Champion. It does not have the official suspension paper! “After the European grappling, a new contact sport, combining fights, judo, sambo, Brazilian jiu jitsu and other styles, continental competition organized by FR de Fighting in collaboration with FR de Kempo, I received a two-month suspension! Not knowing anything about it, I continued to go to other sports competitions, after which I received the suspension for two years! If you believe me, I have not received an official paper so far to prove to me that I am suspended! ”He says Daniel.

Natea suggests that he was forced by FR from Judo to give up, because he was no longer granted a medical visa: “20 years I was able to fight judo with this problem with the thickened walls of the heart, now, overnight, hop !, it could not be! ”. “Formerly it was possible with the same problem with the heart, now it could not be. I wanted to make myself an official paper in the court, showing that I want to do judo on my own responsibility, that is, Lord God, something happens, I can be directly responsible, but I was not accepted, "says Daniel .

UNITED STATES ROLL TO 2-0 START IN WOMEN’S WORLD CUP

The United States defeated Serbia in four sets to earn their second victory in the 2019 FIVB Volleyball World Cup

Yokohama and Hamamatsu, Japan, September 15, 2019 – The United States together with the Netherlands, Brazil, China and Russia are off to a 2-0 winning start in the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Cup on Sunday.

Back-to-back Volleyball Nations League champions USA faced reigning world and European champions Serbia in Hamamatsu, where the opening set got off to a tight start as both sides went on an intense exchange of points until it reached the deadlock at 19-all. Serbia earned its break after an unsuccessful challenge by USA that awarded a point for them, starting a small run. USA tried to fight back, but Katarina Lazovic’s spike gave Serbia the first set win at 25-23.

Karsta Lowe saw action as a starter, replacing Annie Drews in the second set, where the strong opposite hitter provided her side with some strong kills to give USA a good offensive rhythm. Haleigh Washington helped USA build a bigger lead as she served with pressure against their opponents, who struggled to put up the first ball. They doubled their lead at 18-9 as the entire USA unit contributed on the attack and block, but Serbia made another comeback led by Ana Bjelica, but Lowe was there to stop the run by delivering the final blow to secure the second set at 25-17.

“It took us a little bit to get our groove but once we found it, we made some adjustments in blocking, mainly, we kind of hit our stride. We brought good energy and stayed consistent throughout,” Lowe said. “I wasn’t on the court in the first set, but we responded really well after that.”

USA played with a consistent pace in the next two sets, as Jordyn Poulter’s brilliant playmaking skills stood out, skilfully running the offence and involving each teammate in the plays, while the Serbians continued to struggle. With great advantage on spikes and blocks, the North American side secured their second win with victories in the third and fourth sets at 25-16 and 25-15, respectively.

“I’m proud of how we came out and try to attack against them. From the start we started struggling a little bit on the out-of-system block but as the match went on, our line-ups were good and we served them some balls and made it helpful for the defence around us and everyone could play a little bit more loose,” Poulter said.

“We’re in charge of running the offence and we try to make sure that we put our hitters in the best situation as much as possible and be successful. So the better we can do that for our attackers, then the easier it is for our team to succeed.”

Meanwhile, the Netherlands also recorded their second win in Hamamatsu, following their 3-0 (25-12, 25-19, 25-17) stunner against. Dutch captain Maret Balkestein provided the offensive firepower for her side with 11 points built from 10 attacks and an ace, while Kenyan captain Mercy Moim made nine points on a losing effort.

The Brazilians ended the day with a 3-0 (25-17, 25-19, 25-16) triumph against their South American rivals Argentina. Brazil were defence-oriented as they scored 17 blocks to earn their second victory. Gabi Guimaraes led the Brazilian team with 18 points, then Amanda Francisco and Lorenne Geraldo Teixeira contributed to the win with 11 and 10 points, respectively.

The main header in Yokohama featured the host team going up against Russia. In this fixture, the visiting side edged Japan 3-2 (25-11, 23-25, 25-27, 25-19, 15-7) to keep their winning start in the competition.

The high-scoring match was a tough one for the hosts after taking a 2-1 set-lead against Russia, as they conceded the last two frames to the latter, which drilled 73 attacks and mounted 17 blocks.

In the end, the Russian players showed better scoring performances, led by Nataliya Goncharova who exploded for 31 points. Irina Koroleva had 21 markers and Irina Voronkova and Kseniia Parubets each had 15 points, while Japan only had two double-digit scorers – Yukii Ishii (27) and Mayu Ishikawa (20).

In other matches, China still looked sharp, even without their main player Zhu Ting in the line-up against Cameroon. The Asian side recorded a (25-18, 25-14, 25-19) sweep, which was spearheaded by up-and-coming star Li Yingying who delivered a solid performance with 22 points.

The Dominican Republic recovered from their opening day loss to Japan, as they defeated Korea 3-1 (25-17, 24-26, 25-23, 25-23).
