As much as we imagine they will grow old and change, leaving room for young people, the more we are surprised by Federer, Nadal and Djokovic, those who have clearly dominated the last decade (and not only) in men's world tennis.
Following everything that has happened in the last ten years in men's world tennis, this decade will end exactly as it began - with Rafael Nadal , Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer occupying the first three places in the ATP standings. At the end of 2009, on December 28, Federer was in first place, followed a few points away by Nadal and Djokovic.
For 223 weeks - more than four years - the triplet made up of Federer, Nadal and Djokovic took the first three places in the ATP standings. One player - Andy Murray - has been a world leader in a decade clearly dominated by the "Big 3" select group for 41 weeks (end of 2016 and half of 2017). Emphasizing the consistency of the three legendary tennis players, Djokovic, Nadal and Federer have together won 33 Grand Slam titles out of all the 40 that were fought in all these years (including 12 in the last three years).
