Uruguayan Pablo Cuevas (45 ATP) lost the match of the ATP Cup with Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili (26 ATP), score 4-6, 6-1, 4-6.
The South American player was upset and wanted to abandon the game at the end of the first set.
Pablo Cuevas packed up and headed to the booths to score 5-4 for the opponent in the first set. The Uruguayan was taken out of his mind by a warning received from the chair referee.
Cuevas shouted to the official: "****, you fool! Call the supervisor, call the police, call the Australian Baywach! You're crazy? What do you have?".
After a long discussion with the supervisor, Pablo went to the bank, gathered his rockets and set off for the locker rooms. The one who succeeded in accomplishing it was Basilashvili himself.
Uruguay finished last in Group B of the ATP Cup, behind Spain, Japan and Georgia.
