It was a question of how the champion would compensate the injured Durant points, he gave 34 in this series, but Thompson in the first and Kari in the following answered those doubts.

The fans are waiting for the rivals, Denver or Portland, Thompson said that Durant is desperate for the title, which is not yet known when he will return. However, he will wait for open hands and Casinos, who at some point in the final series of the West should be ready to return to the parquet.

"Jokic can not jump from the sidewalk to the curb"
Famous American sports journalist Steven Eight Smith commented on the phenomenal parties of Nikola Jokic and his Denver Nuggets at this year's NBA Playoff.

Denver Nuggets play the semifinal series of the NBA Western Conference against Portland Trail Blazers and after 6 games, both teams have the same number of victories, so we will win the 7th game on Sunday.

Nikola has a fantastic season, both in the regular part of the season, as well as in the play and comparison with the biggest names of this sport come on a daily basis, however, this time we get a slightly different analysis.

"Jokic in this series average 26 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists, while Jamal Murray records 24, so it is understandable that Denver is currently playing his best basketball. The ball goes into Jokic's hand, a man who" looks like a big fat bag ", the guy he can not jump from the sidewalk to the curb, for the sake of it. Unbelievably, this is incredible, but this guy is unrealistically efficient, so smart and brilliant as a basketball player that this is incredible. You need to get him to jump. When Jokic was doubled in these three losses , his teammates missed open pitches, and I do not see such an outcome of Match 7, " said Steven Hey Smith.

  • Brazil and United States pairs lead World Championship entries from FIVB World Tour

Led by Brazil and the United States, 90 men's and women's teams from 38 countries representing all five confederations have qualified for the 2019 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships to be played from June 28 through July 7 in Hamburg, Germany.
The list of 45 players per gender includes the top men’s and women’s teams from the FIVB World Tour entry list along with the continental quota qualifiers from the Asian (AVC), African (CAVB), European (CEV), South American (CSV) and NORCECA (North, Central America and Caribbean) confederations.
With wild card entries to be announced, Brazil secured its four men's and four women's berths after finishing among the top 23 teams per gender on the FIVB World Tour entry list. Points on the entry list are calculated by combining points of each player’s best four finishes among his or her last six events played on the international circuit.
The United States also qualified for four berths per gender, but only three men’s and four women’s pairs finished among the top teams on the FIVB World Tour entry list. The fourth American men’s team of Billy Allen and Stafford Slick qualified via the NORCECA continental process.
Germany secured six berths for Hamburg as the European country stages its second FIVB World Championships after hosting the 2005 World Championships in Berlin. German women gained four spots and the men one berth via the FIVB World Tour entry list. Nils Ehlers and Lars Fluggen were awarded a host country spot as the second German men’s team in the 2019 FIVB World Championships.
Leading the Brazilian brigade are reigning FIVB World Championships champions Evandro Goncalves and Andre Loyola Stein, who are playing with different partners this season after winning the 2017 title together in Vienna. Evandro is now teamed with 2015 FIVB World and 2016 Rio Olympic champion Bruno Oscar Schmidt while Andre is currently paired with George Wanderley.
Alison Cerutti, who was Bruno's partner at the 2015 Worlds and 2016 Olympics, also qualified with Alvaro Filho. Alison and Alvaro used a gold medal performance this past weekend in Malaysia to earn the fourth and final spot for a Brazilian men’s team. Alison also captured a gold medal with Emanuel Rego at the 2011 Rome World Championships.
Brazil's Alison Cerutti and Alvaro Filho qualified for the World Championships after winning the World Tour event in Kuala Lumpur last week.
Pedro Solberg, who placed third at the 2015 FIVB World Championships in the Netherlands with Evandro, also qualified with new partner Vitor Felipe.
On the women's side for Brazil, 2015 FIVB world champions and 2016 Rio Olympic silver medal winners Agatha Bednarczuk and Barbara Seixas have qualified for Hamburg 2019 with different partners.
Agatha is paired with Eduarda ‘Duda’ Lisboa with Barbara teaming with Fernanda Alves, who finished second at the 2017 World Championships with Taiana Lima. Other Brazilian women duos at the 2019 Worlds via the FIVB World Tour entry list are Maria Antonelli/Carolina Salgado and Rebecca Cavalcanti/Ana Patricia Silva, who have captured three gold medals this season.
Leading the United States entries for Hamburg will be past FIVB World Championship gold medallists Phil Dalhausser (Gstaad 2007 with Todd Rogers) and April Ross (Stavanger 2009 with Jen Kessy). Ross also captured a silver medal at the 2017 FIVB World Championships in Vienna as she and Lauren Fendrick dropped the title match to Germany's Laura Ludwig and Kira Walkenhorst.
April Ross and Alix Klineman lead the United States' women's teams qualified for the 2019 World Championships.
Clemens Doppler and Alexander Horst have also qualified for the 2019 FIVB World Championships. The Austrians won the silver medal at the 2017 worlds after losing the Vienna finale to Evandro and Andre. Viacheslav Krasilnikov and Nikita Liamin, the Vienna 2017 bronze medal winners have also qualified for 2019 via the FIVB World Tour entry list and are playing with different partners this season.
Alexander Brouwer/Robert Meeuwsen will be the only team in the 2019 FIVB World Championships that won a world title together as the Dutchmen captured the 2013 crown by defeating Brazilians Ricardo Santos and Alvaro in the finale at Stare Jablonki, Poland.

  • Vladimir Putin scores at least eight goals in hockey exhibition, then falls on face
Putin takes spill after scoring eight (or 10) goals in Friday game
President was playing in annual exhibition with ex-NHL stars

Vladimir Putin tops the scoring in ice hockey match ... then falls over – video
Russian president Vladimir Putin scored at least eight goals in an exhibition ice hockey game with former National Hockey League players at Sochi’s Bolshoy Ice Dome, then took a face-first spill while waving to the crowd during a post-game victory lap.

The 66-year-old leader, who appeared fine after the tumble, had taken the ice on Friday night in what has become an annual tradition. He played on the Legends team alongside Russian hockey stars such as Hall of Famers Slava Fetisov and Pavel Bure.

Both the Associated Press and Reuters reported that Putin fired in eight goals during the match, while the official Kremlin release indicates he scored 10 times in a 14-7 victory. His teammate, defense minister Sergei Shoigu, added three goals by all accounts.

Putin, whose approval ratings have slipped in recent years as Russia battles economic woes, periodically plays hockey with government officials, businessmen and former NHL stars in matches that are broadcast with pomp on national television.

Playing at center forward in his traditional No11 shirt, Putin was provided with plenty of scoring opportunities by his linemates and was met with little resistance by the opposing team’s defense.

After opening the scoring unassisted by beating the goaltender only two minutes into the game, the president added either seven (or nine) more goals, making him the top scorer.

The offensive outburst offered compelling proof that reports of Putin’s fading nose for the net have been greatly exaggerated. The president had scored only five goals in last year’s game, down from seven the year prior and eight in 2015.

The opposing team was made up of high-profile amateur players, including Putin‘s childhood friend, tycoon Gennady Timchenko, billionaire Vladimir Potanin and several Russian governors.

It marked Putin’s seventh straight appearance in the gala exhibition for Russia’s Night Hockey League, the 45-and-older amateur league which he established in 2011. He’s scored 36 (or 38) goals in those matches, an average of more than five per game.
