    Van Vleuten is crowned world champion for the first time after a monstrous 105-kilometer solo
    Annemiek van Vleuten has impressively grabbed her first world title on the road. The 36-year-old Dutchman completed a solo of no less than 105 kilometers. A unique achievement. Her compatriot Anna van der Breggen finished second, the Australian Amanda Spratt won the bronze.
