On Monday, Cristina Pîrv, Romania's most valuable volleyball player, officially opened the Pirv Volleyball Academy11. The event started in the "Vasile Geleriu" Hall of the "Iuliu Hațieganu" Sports Park (Babes Park).
The Volleyball Academy aims to look for young sports enthusiasts who want to find out from the best mysteries of the most elegant team sport and why not, even to find the new 11 of Romania.
The academy is called Pîrv11, because this was the number he always wore on his shirt, regardless of the championship in which he has evolved over time.
The training sessions will be held in Cluj-Napoca, but also in Turda, where Cristina Pîrv has set up a senior team that will evolve in the second step of the Romanian volleyball.
The launching event was attended by the local authorities of Turdina, represented by the mayor Cristian Matei, the dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of the UBB, Leon Gomboș, the first teacher of Cristina Pîrv, Alexandru Lazar, as well as his family, parents, two children, close ones. , friends, supporters, "U" Cluj women's volleyball team, Turda Volleyball team and many volleyball lovers.
