• CELEBRATED CINEMONY SINCE AT THE RONDO POWDER IN SLOVENIAN BEACH IN BUDVA SUSPECTED COVER ON THE 18TH GAME OF SMALL COUNTRIES OF EUROPE
Seeing Black Mountain, see you in Andorra 2021!Seeing Black Mountain, see you in Andorra 2021!And the small countries of Europe in 2019 have been completed, and Montenegro and the Olympic Committee have shown, above all, great heart and hospitality, and knowledge and capacity to organize a high-level sporting competition at a high level. For the first time, Montenegro hosted a multi-sport event, 835 athletes competed in ten disciplines, in five cities, and all parts of the organization functioned in accordance with the highest standards. None of this would be that there was no energy, enthusiasm, and Mediterranean charm. In that spirit, the closing ceremony of the Games was also held. In the festive part, President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach awarded medals in the last competitive disciplines and said.
"You showed the power of sport and sent the most beautiful message to the world," Bah said.
The president of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, Dusan Simonovic, spoke with unhidden pride and emotions.
    - Tonight, we have extinguished the Olympic flame over the Old Town in Budva. His warmth and glamor will remain in our hearts and will continue to be our inspiration and the memory of the path we crossed since June 2015 when the organization of the Games has been awarded to us today, when we have five days for unforgettable time. Days in which we are - small, and so great - united in diversity, celebrated sport and the Olympic spirit, said Simonovic.
At the end of the ceremony, Simonovic symbolically handed over the Flag of the Games to colleague Haumeu Marti of Andorra, a state in the Pyrenees, in which he will hold the 19th edition of the competition that brings together athletes from European countries with less than a million inhabitants.
    - For the past five days, we were not all uncompromising competitors. Or, we were not just that. We were athletes, architects and builders, who were the bridge of trust and friendship, built in 1985 with the first edition of Small Games, extended and laid the foundations on the Adriatic coast. To be proud, knowing that we, with the help of our friends, associates, sponsors, volunteers, have given away all our energy to be exemplary hosts, but also get the energy in return from you, we will hand over the map of the common road Andorra, Simonovic said.
And then in a spectacular atmosphere at the swimming pool of the Slovenska plaža complex, a party began - goodbye to Montenegro Goro, see you in Andorra 2021!

  • Skopje's fairy tale: Team without future wins premier class
The Champions League winner 2019 is called Vardar Skopje: The North Macedonians won in the final of Cologne after a surprisingly clear half-time lead (16:11) and a thrilling second half at the end 27:24 against the Hungarian top team Veszprem. Thus, Vardar sat after 2017 again the crown in European club handball.

The Final Four in Cologne remains faithful to its reputation: Once again, Vardar Skopje crowned one of the outsiders titleholders in the premier class. "I expect nothing for the final," said Vardars German backcourt Christian Dissinger still after the sensational comeback against Barcelona . "We did not even expect to get that far." In the end, the 27-year-old was still in the middle of Konfettiregen of Cologne.

In front of 19,750 spectators in the sold-out Lanxess Arena Skopje needed no start-up time despite the exhausting semi-finals. The North Macedonian champion looked more biting from the beginning and presented Veszprem's defensive team with the nimble back space players Igor Karacic and Stas Skube before a tricky task. Again and again, the two playmakers put the tall topshooter Dainis Kristopans (2.15 m) in the limelight with fast sprints, which either finished by himself or showed a fine eye for the runners. Overall, Vardar scored in the first section strong 38 percent of the goals on the circle position (6 of 16).

On the other hand, the slightly favored Veszprem owed a lot in the first 30 minutes of play. Although the Hungarians had the somewhat longer break after the semi-final round, the attack on the ex-Flensburg Kentin Mahé seemed pomadig for long stretches. Petar Nenadic, against Kielce with a total of 12 goals Matchwinner, took place with the exception of one penalty. Thus, it went under the disbelieving glances of the crowded Veszprem trailer in the cabin.

    Davis' Psycho Game
After the break, Veszprem coach David Davis then used a small "psycho game". The 42-year-old Spaniard brought Arpad Sterbik into the game. The star goalkeeper had injured himself after a hard clash the day before and was able to return limping to the field in the final. However, the move continued: The 39-year-old parried time after time - Vardar's advantage was melted down in the 39th minute to a goal (17:16).

A gripping final phase developed, which was characterized by several punishments. In the heated final phase, the team of Spanish coach Roberto Garcia Parrondo but should prove nerve strength. The decision provided Ivan Cupic - indicative of the final - from seven yards to 27:24, one minute before the sounding of the final siren.

It should have been Vardar's last exclamation point in European handball for now. After a few months ago, Russian patron Sergei Samsonenko announced that he was keen to reduce his involvement, almost all high achievers decided to change clubs. For example, Kristopans (Paris SG), goalkeeper Dejan Milosavljev ( Berlin ) or playmaker Karacic (Kielce) will be wearing the jersey of another club.

    Karacic becomes Final MVP
The top scorers of the finals were Veszprem's Mahé and Skopje's Rogerio Moraes Ferreira with six goals each. By the way, the Brazilian did not start playing the handball until 2012 - and he was already in the jersey of THW Kiel. The award for the best player of the final received the Croatian Karacic.

Already on Sunday afternoon , FC Barcelona had secured third place. The reigning Spanish champions, who lost the final ticket to Skopje in the semi-final on Saturday despite a seven-goal lead , beat Poland's top team KS Kielce 40:35 (20:16).

The Catalans put on a start-finish victory: In a brisk initial phase, Barcelona, led by eight-goal man Dika Mem quickly earned a small cushion (9: 5 after ten minutes). Kielce, future employer of goalkeeper Andreas Wolff, initially had no answer to the attack waves of the Spaniards ready. Thus, it went with a 20:16 for Barça in the catacombs of the Cologne Lanxess Arena.

In the second round Kielce made with Talant Dujshebaev the game exciting again and also benefited from a flood of punitive time. In the 51st minute of the match, FC Barcelona were on par with three penalties with only three outfield players. The Spanish champion stumbled, but brought the lead over time. For Kielce Alex Dujshebaev met five times in the opposing goal, the Spanish half left is with 100 goals top scorer in the Champions League season. Overall, both teams delivered in a game without great importance an entertaining idea with one or the other Cabinet piece - both defenses, however, acted without the final consequence.

We are professionals, we have to play this game, but we had no motivation.
    Aron Palmarsson

Barcelona playmaker Aron Palmarsson found clear words after the end of the game on the microphone of "Sky": "There was no motivation for this game, we are professionals, we have to play this game, but we had no motivation." In the end, Izller once again put his finger in the wound and looked back at the semi-final defeat against Skopje: "We did not have any balls, we played incredibly badly, did not run much in the second half and that's why Skopje still won."

    May 25, 2019

TEHRAN - Mohammad Reza Davarzani, Iran's deputy sports minister, says they have a national duty to fight corruption in sports.

“In a joint meeting with Iran’s Security Council, cyber police are assigned to control the betting activities and they will block online gambling sites,” Davarzani said.

“The clubs’ fan sites must also work under the supervision of the clubs. The fans should come to the stadiums in a healthy atmosphere. We have a national duty to fight corruption,” he added.

Police has arrested Tractor Sazi goalkeeper Mohsen Forouzan in connection with the scandal. He was reportedly monitoring or directing Iran's larger pro football teams - and then suspended from all football-related activities by The Disciplinary Committee of Iran Football Federation for one month after allegedly conceding goals in a match against Sepidrood FC.

While betting and gambling is forbidden in Islam, Esteghlal FC's Deputy Ali Khatir had claimed that an average football match in the Iranian Professional League draws up to $5 million in betting and that corruption in Iranian football has become systemic.

Match-fixing reaches far beyond borders. To fight this, FIFA's Executive Committee had approved a task force report to investigate better preventative measures.
